Or, at least it's important to *try* to know.
So, I originally intended to use DeviantArt as a way to increase my artistic accountability: by forcing myself to update regularly, I would force myself to examine how productive I had been in a very direct and quantifiable way. It's almost been a month since my last update, so that's out the window.
The latest realization is that DeviantArt is a very convenient way for me to practice my writing skills. I have to write critical analysis of artwork for my Art History degree. DeviantArt could be *very* good practice. As a plus, I'd get to look at all sorts of cool artwork. Sweet.
